In our day and age new ideas drastically shift the landscape of our times and indeed the very perception of our reality. The notion that the weird and the eerie somehow transcend or alter our perception of the working order of the world is a very interesting one. The Economic disasters of the last few years are examples of how this invisible force can destabilize society when manipulated correctly.
